Millions of people were left without power and the land was flooded with water. With no access to affected areas, it is impossible for any agency to assess the damage and send rescue efforts. SkyMap Global recently launched EOfactory (<a href=\"https:\/\/eofactory.ai\">https:\/\/eofactory.ai<\/a>). We used this platform to study the pre and post Amphan Cyclone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Initially, our team of remote sensing experts wanted to <a href=\"https:\/\/eofactory.ai\/blog\/from-medium-resolution-satellite-images-to-high-quality-ones-eofactory-made-it-possible\/\">use the Sentinel-2 Optical images for the analysis<\/a> but the cloud cover during the cyclone masked the entire area. EOFactory can derive the actual submerged areas along with its locations and area.
